Please use these templates to prepare your submission.
How to Submit
All submissions are made through the journal's online submission system. You will be asked to create an account, upload your two files, and confirm a short submission checklist.
What Happens After Submission
- Initial screening. The editorial team checks that your submission fits the journal's scope and meets formatting requirements, and screens it for similarity using Turnitin.
- Peer review. Suitable manuscripts are sent to at least two reviewers under a double-anonymous process.
- Revision and acceptance. Where revisions are invited, authors receive clear, constructive guidance from reviewers and editors.
- Publication. Accepted articles are published open access. Authors retain copyright of their work.

Journal Policies
Peer Review Policy
TERECONET Journal of Education (TEJE) operates a double-anonymous peer review process: reviewers do not know the identity of authors, and authors do not know the identity of reviewers.
Every submission is first screened by the editorial team for scope, quality, and formatting. Manuscripts that pass initial screening are sent to at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise. Reviewers assess the manuscript's rigour, originality, clarity, and — in keeping with the journal's mission — its impact on educational understanding or practice.
Based on the reviewers' reports, the editors reach one of the following decisions: accept, minor revisions, major revisions, or reject. Final decisions on publication rest with the editors.
Plagiarism and Similarity Screening
All submissions are screened for similarity using Turnitin before being sent for peer review.
TEJE takes a zero-tolerance approach to plagiarism, including self-plagiarism and duplicate submission. Manuscripts showing substantial unattributed overlap with existing work — including the author's own — will be rejected. Where plagiarism is discovered after publication, the journal reserves the right to correct or retract the article and to inform relevant institutions.
Open Access and Licensing
TEJE is a fully open access journal. All articles are freely available to read, download, and share immediately upon publication, with no subscription fees, paywalls, or embargo periods.
There are no charges of any kind for authors — no submission fees and no article processing charges (APCs).
Articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence, which permits others to share and adapt the work, provided appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and source.
Copyright
Authors retain full copyright of their published work. By publishing in TJE, authors grant the journal the right of first publication under the CC BY 4.0 licence.
Publication Ethics
TEJE is committed to the highest standards of integrity in educational research and publishing. The journal follows the Ethical Guidelines for Educational Research published by the British Educational Research Association (BERA), and expects all authors, reviewers, and editors to do the same.
In particular:
- Research involving human participants. Authors must confirm that their research received appropriate ethical approval and that informed consent was obtained where applicable, in line with BERA guidelines.
- Conflicts of interest. Authors must declare any financial, professional, or personal interests that could be perceived to influence their work. Reviewers and editors must recuse themselves from manuscripts where a conflict exists.
- Authorship. All listed authors must have made a substantive contribution to the work and approved the final manuscript. Guest, gift, and ghost authorship are not acceptable.
- Use of artificial intelligence. AI tools may not be listed as authors. Where generative AI has been used in the preparation of a manuscript (e.g., for language editing or analysis), authors must disclose this transparently in the manuscript. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy and integrity of all content.
- Data availability. Authors are encouraged to make their data available where ethically and legally possible, and should state in the manuscript whether and how data can be accessed.
- Corrections and retractions. Where significant errors or misconduct are identified after publication, the journal will issue corrections or retractions as appropriate.
Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs)
All articles published in TEJE are assigned a DOI, ensuring each article is permanently citable and discoverable.
